Down Payment and Payment Terms
A down payment of $250.00 is required to guarantee a reservation on all RV
rentals.
Estimated charges for the trip, including pre-estimated mileage, daily rate, insurance, sales tax and any options,
are due in full 14 DAYS PRIOR to the pick-up date. If today is less than 14 days
from the pick-up date, full payment is due now. ZZZ RV accepts Cash, Cashiers Checks, Money Orders and the following credit cards:
MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. PERSONAL CHECKS ARE NOT
ACCEPTED LESS THAN 14 DAYS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE. Please have exact dates ready
when making reservations. Any extra miles over your contracted amount will be
figured at a rate of $.39 per mile. Generator hours will be charged at $4 per
hour used beyond the allotted hours/day.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation
From the date of the reservation to 30 days prior to the pick-up date, ZZZ
RV will refund the down payment of $250.00 less a $50.00 processing fee. NO REFUND
will be given if cancelled less than 30 days prior to departure.
Security/Damage Deposit
A deposit of $500.00 is due at TIME OF PICK-UP and must be Cash,
Cashiers Check, Money Order or Credit Card. Personal checks are not accepted
less than 14 days prior to departure.
Refund of Security/Damage Deposit
Every effort will be made to make refunds within 15 business days after return of the rental unit clean inside &
out, LP Gas topped off, fuel tank full, gray & black water tanks drained with valves open, and with NO DAMAGE. Refund will be in the form of a ZZZ RV check. The following
charges will be deducted from the deposit.
1. Mileage, Generator hours & Sales tax in excess of that estimated
or contracted.
2. Cost of repairs
for damages deemed to be the customer’s responsibility.
3. NO SMOKING ALLOWED
– Unit should be returned odor free from smoke (including campfire smell) or a $200.00 DEEP Cleaning Fee will be charged.
4. Waste tanks not
emptied - $50.00.
5. LP Gas not topped off - $35.00 plus cost of LP.
6. Clean inside &
out or our rates are $85.00 per hour with a $100.00 minimum.
7. Fuel tank not full
- $35.00 plus cost of fuel.
Insurance Coverage
You must provide rental insurance and provide written proof of insurance with limits of $1,000,000 combined bodily
injury and property damage with $500.00 deductible or less. Your insurance policy
binder must specifically state the year, make, model and VIN number of the unit you are renting, and name us as additional
insured and loss payee for the entire time you have the rental unit. Your deductible
will be collected at the time of departure in the form of an additional security deposit.
This must be in the form of cash, cashiers check or money order.
If your personal insurance will not extend to the rental vehicle,
you will be required to purchase full coverage insurance directly through MBA INSURANCE at 1-800-622-2201 or www.MBAchoice.com with a $500.00 deductible. The $500.00 deductible will be collected at the time
of departure in the form of an additional security deposit. This must be in the
form of Cash, Cashiers Check or Money Order.
Fuel and Other Expenses
Once on the road, fuel, LP Gas, campground fees and other trip expenses are your responsibility. Parking tickets and traffic tickets are strictly your responsibility.
Mechanical Failure
In the event a breakdown should occur, we will reimburse you for repairs UNDER $50.00 with appropriate receipts. For any repairs over $50.00, please call us toll free at 1-877-963-6700 between the
hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm central time. Failure
to contact us for pre-authorization may result in no reimbursement of the repair. We
are not responsible for any loss of travel time or costs.
In the event of an emergency after hours, a telephone number will be provided to you at departure.
Check In – Check Out
Drop-off hours are 8:30 am to 12:00 noon Monday through Friday, and pick-up hours are 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm Monday through
Friday. For your convenience and to best serve you, we schedule a specific time
for pick-up and drop-off. At the time of pick-up, a representative will explain
motorhome operation and vehicle condition and a check-out form will be completed and signed.
The vehicle will have full tanks of fuel, LP Gas, water, the holding tanks dumped and the interior and exterior clean
when checked out to you. Allow at least one hour for pick-up. Again for your convenience, a return time is scheduled. If
you cannot make that time, you must call at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule.
Failure to do so will result in a $100.00 fee, and late returns may be subject to additional rental charges. When you return the vehicle we again jointly inspect the unit for damages.
The interior and exterior are to be clean and all personal items removed. Fuel
and LP Gas tanks are to be returned full and holding tanks must be emptied. Cleaning
fees and holding tank fees will be STRICTLY ENFORCED. After reconciliation of
mileage, generator hours, fuel, cleaning and damages, the deposit will be refunded within 15 business days. Please allow ½ hour for check-in.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The person(s) named on the RESERVATION APPLICATION must be 25 years of age, have a major credit card (MasterCard, Visa,
Discover or American Express), and is/are the only person(s) authorized to sign the rental agreement and drive the rental
vehicle. No refund will be issued if the vehicle is returned prior to the scheduled
return date, nor do we refund unused mileage. The rental vehicle is not permitted
into Mexico. SMOKING, open flames
such as candles or incense are prohibited. Pets are only allowed with prior approval
of ZZZ RV – an additional deposit may be required. All authorized drivers
must have a clean driving record, be at least 25 years of age, be present at the time of departure, and have a valid picture
driver’s license. Since all rental vehicles are subject to sale, we cannot
guarantee a specific vehicle will be available. You will be guaranteed a vehicle
of our choosing which most closely matches what you reserved per availability. We
will notify you if there are any changes in your reservation.
You have read and agree with all of the conditions of the ZZZ RV RENTAL PROGRAM and all information you have given
us is true and correct. You understand that we may perform a CREDIT INVESTIGATION
on you and a DMV CHECK on all drivers; you hereby authorize us to receive information
concerning your credit and driving record from others. The credit card listed
on the RESERVATION APPLICATION is issued in your name with the same address as listed.
You authorize us to charge your credit card listed for all expenses related to this rental. You understand that in the event of cancellation, ZZZ RV may retain all or part of your down payment according to the Cancellation Policy stated
above. Acceptance of your application for a rental vehicle is subject to confirmation
only by ZZZ RV. Valid Driver’s License with picture for all rental applicants
and actual credit card used to secure this reservation are required prior to departure.
